Citrix simulates a Windows environment on the user’s screen using so-called Citrix sessions. As a user, you send keystrokes and mouse clicks to the server, after which you receive screen information back from the server. Citrix is in fact a terminal system (such as MS or Remote Desktop) and all data is therefore only on the server. The first time you use Citrix, you install a local ICA client on your PC, after which you can use the Windows applications you need for your work anytime, anywhere.
Citrix and Microsoft work together to speed up future work.
Together, we help organizations simplify cloud transformation and smoothly deploy digital workspaces and virtual desktops to take their agility, productivity and security to the next level.
